Archery Day Camp -- 2003

July 2003, Panhandle Bowhunters hosted our first Archery Day Camp for youth ages 10-15.  The basics of safety and archery were covered with the campers daily.  Crafts like a compass, flu flu arrows, and birdhouses were tackled as well as plenty of archery games and challenges.  All the campers had fun and learned plenty.  Some of our special challenges included the William Tell Challenge, the Donut Hole, and the Lifesaver Challenge.  Campers all walked away with special recognition certificates for accomplishments during the week.

Panhandle is looking forward to hosting more camps in the future.  We will post dates here as soon as they are available.

If you know a youth, ages 8-18, who would like to learn more about archery, join us the 1st and 3rd Thursday evenings of each month at 7 P.M. at our range.  Archery basics are covered each week as we learn more about this great activity for the entire family.
